  • 1969-1978

    It was that time of the year 1969 when LATE SHRI CHHAGANLAL DHARAMCHAND SHAH AND SHRI SAGARMAL GANESHMAL SHAH jointly decided to start a business trading in the field of FERROUS AND NON-FERROUS METALS. Soon to go ahead with the decision M/S CHHAGANLAL DHARAMCHAND SHAH was established with due effect from 21st APR 1969.

    We started our business with in IRON AND STEEL SCRAP from textile mills at all over the Ahmedabad.

    So a decade of work in this field made CHHAGANLAL DHARAMCHAND SHAH to be a well-known and reputed firm with its own business ethics.

    • 1979-1988

      After the glorious decade of work in this field we took a step ahead and expand our business in pipes and tubes sector. We started dealing with different companies like: Oil and Gas, Refinery, Petroleum industries, Power plants and other, etc.

      In the year 1982 we further expanded and commenced to work at ALANG, BHAVNAGAR for SHIP-BREAKING.

      • 1989-1998

        With little more expansion we started working on IMPORTS and got more diversified with in the field of PIPES AND TUBES, continuing the on going work with i.e SCRAP AND SHIP-BREAKING

        • 1999-2008

          In this era there was a lot of work carried out with a lot of changes for development i.e.

          • Our Product List was expanded ( round pipes and tubes, sq pipes, plates, coils, fittings, flanges and other engineering products)
          • Importer of goods in steel.
          • Wholesalers and retailers.
          • Reduction in scrap Business and increase in finished product list.

        • 2009-2019

          In this journey of 50 Years of M/S CHHAGANLAL DHARAMCHAND SHAH, the final chapter would narrate the ongoing and future development of the firm.

          • Developed specification of pipe grades
          • Product list expanded with different materials (mild steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel in form of pipes and tubes, plates and coil, heavy ships shaft, hollow pipes fittings and flanges, etc)
          • We started manufacturing saw pipe range from 20” and above and hollow section upto 500 X 500 X 16 MM through Job Work at Ahmedabad Gujarat India,
          • Our future planning is to establish a rolling mill and make our own products in the field of pipes and tubes.
          • We are even planning to trade in different metals.
          • Working on development of digitalization.
          • To deliver and supply the most noteworthy quality products to our clients.
